Managing Director Paul Sawyer served for 13 years with the Metropolitan Police, mainly within Specialist Operations and CO19. Paul then moved into a corporate environment for a number of years protecting companies and their executives and then founded XIX Group in 2007.

Director Huw Jones QPM served with UK Police Forces for 30 years retiring with the rank of Deputy Chief Constable with Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary. He is a member of the Association of Chief Police Officers and Honorary Colonel of Royal Military Police.

His experience includes the close protection of Prime Minister Blair and other world leaders, before that he was an instructor and operator within CO19's Specialist Firearms Teams.
